In 2012, Mark Abouzeid curated “The New New World” exhibition in one of the most important art spaces in Florence, the Palazzo Vecchio. The exhibition was a constructive response to the immediate crisis caused by racist attacks in the city.
Sophie Beer is an upcoming jewellery artist. Her jewellery pieces speak of memories, relationships and connections between human beings. Trained as a goldsmith and designer, she chooses to be an artist. Her focus is to use jewellery, made of unconventional materials, as a tool to communicate stories and to open up a dialogue.
In 2016, Real Lives and Slowfood Beirut collaborated on two films regarding the dying traditions of raw goat cheese making, Serdeleh and Darfieh.
